This is a key wrench if your trying to build a tool set to display with your antique tractor. Notice it is a an open end wrench. Note the3170 was cast many times at different locations by Ihc.
The wrench has had a little surface rust but no pitting. The ih3170 type iii is probably from a tractor tool kit of a ih or McCormick deeding, formally f or w series tractor delivered in the 1930's.
The tool shown is the one you are buying on. Collectors have found more than 20 variations this wrench is another style.
The wrench is nearly 11 long and was very useful to a mechanic of the day. It shows very little use. I have another one listed with a different look.
There are very minor nicks and wear points. Happy buying.
